About the client
Kunst & Afval (Art & Waste) is an event for children between 6 and 12 years old. With workshops at their school they turn dry waste into funny objects. The goal of this event is making these children more aware about waste and the environment.
The event had no corporate identity which the target audience can identify with. The following requirements were defined:
I’ve created an identity and character for this event which will be appealing for the target audience and easily to recognize: A little trashcan with a painter hat that symbolizes art and waste.
A communication employee of IKEA Breda Netherlands approached me with the question if they can use the character as an interior decoration poster in their store. Of course I said yes: scroll down to see the result.
